The Department of English and German is divided into several teaching units. Most teachers belong to the teaching unit in charge of the four-year B.A. degree (Llicenciatura) in English offered by the Faculty of Letters. The Department has, besides, teaching units in the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation, the University School of Business at Sabadell and the University School of Computer Science at Sabadell.

The academic areas of the Department are: English Language and Linguistics; English Literature and Culture; German Language, Literature and Culture.
