The knowledge areas of the Departament de Ciències de l’Antiguitat of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona are: archeology, historiographic sciences and techniques, Latin philology, Greek philology, Slavic philology, ancient history, medieval history and Indo-European linguistics, which are also the topics worked on by the Department’s research groups.
