The UAB is internationally acknowledged for its quality and innovative research.

We coordinate a strong scientific and technological pole. We also promote entreprenurial projects and orientate and project our activity to our socioeconomic environment reconeguda, therefore generating and disseminating new knowledge. In an environment of strong international competition, the UAB has a firm determination to be among the first Universities in the world.

On the 26th of November 2009, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona obtained the title of Campus of International Excellence
