This technical report introduces the classification, incidence and diagnosis of common primary bone tumors. A set of 145 digitized radiographs were characterized. The differences between healthy bone and bone tumors were studied by using image processing and analysis. This work shows the usefulness of our method to contribute in the differential diagnosis between healthy and pathological bone when the exploration is insufficient.
