The laboratory of the department of Constructions and Transports from the Universitàdegli Studi di Padova needed a structure of steel to execute fatigue test. For this reason, thepresent project is based on the calculations and the design of this structure.In order to be carried out, the project has followed the valid rule obtained from theEurocode 3, Design of steel structures, as a basic normative. Moreover, the demands that thestructure have to bear in order to take them into account in its calculation and design havebeen studied too.One of the main objectives is to study the resistance to fatigue of the structure becausethe tests consist of applying a load of 1500 kN with a punctual shape repeatedly.
