Abstract:

This paper presents a methodology for a collaborativerecommender system (RS). The methodologyis based on the compatibility of groups of usersdefining their profiles via a qualitative order-ofmagnitudemodel. The distributive lattice structureof the space of qualitative descriptions is consideredin defining the distance between existing usersand the RSs new users. An application to movierecommendations is presented to show and comparethe efficiency of the proposed methodology. |
