Abstract:

This paper presents a discrete control design fortime-delay systems subjected to the periodical commandsignal or exogenous disturbances. Unlike other deadtimecompensators (DTC), we take profit of the systemcomponents to construct an internal model. In addition,a novel disturbance observer is developed to compensatethe effect of disturbances, and thus to achieve trackingand disturbance rejection simultaneously. The possiblefractional delay from discretization is also handled byusing a fractional delay filter. The stability conditionsand robustness analysis under model uncertainties areprovided. Two numerical examples including a supplychain management (SCM) is provided to illustrate thefeasibility of the results. |
