X-Band Imaging Retinas

Systems at 10GHz based on the use of horn antennas and slotted-waveguide antennasare studied along this work. The importance of this study relies on the fact that theseantennas can be employed for imaging applications by measuring the eld distributionat its apertures. In this sense, the response of such antennas was obtained for di erentworking conditions and, based on the results, it is proposed some con gurations thatcould be used for the implementation of an imaging retina. This project is the interme-diate step in the construction of a THz system for short-range imaging applications inwhich the UPC/AntennaLab group is currently working.
